The NSC-24 Strong Bones Formula provides the primary minerals and vitamins essential for strong bones and bone structure (skeletal) health. Healthy bone tissue in peak condition is 65% hard minerals - primarily calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The remaining 35% is collagen, a soft protein that in concert with the minerals gives bones both strength and flexibility. Your bones are vital, living tissue providing structural support for your bodies while also being a reservoir of minerals, blood cells and enzymes needed for balanced body chemistry, production of red and plasma cells plus white immune cells and proper insulin production. Energy and nutrient delivery from red blood cells and antibodies from B cells begin in the bones.
Certain minerals and vitamins are necessary to enhance the bioavailability or absorption of calcium to get where it needs to go in adequate amounts to actually strengthen bones and minimize bone loss, especially during menopause.
