I used this product and it worked well, I have not bleed as bad after labor. I didn't hardly tear either. Happy that I bought it and will let others know about it!

I took the birth-prep with both of my pregnancies. The first labor was 6 hours and the second was 1 1/2 hour. They were born 1 year and 1 day apart. I feel that especially if you are planning a natural birth with no epidural like I did you should take the birth-prep. I recommend it to all of my pregnant patients.

I started taking Birth-Prep as directed on the bottle, 6 weeks before my due date. I had BH contractions the entire time I took them, when I increased the dosage (as directed), the BH became more frequent, never painful. My midwife told me to go back to 1, 3xs a day until week 38 (rather than 2 3xs a day). I never felt any pain until labor started 4 days before my due date. This was my 1st child, homebirth and it was 13hr labor and 3 pushes before my beautiful baby boy was born at 7lbs 6oz. I do think Birth-Prep toned my uterus to get ready for labor.

I am a first time mom, I have yet to deliver, but I purchased these after reading much about them from others...I am 39 weeks pregnant and started these at 36 weeks. I am already 5 cm dialated and 70% effaced, which I credit to taking these capsules. As I have read and heard that first timers usually go past their due date and have long labors...my Dr. said that this progress in my cervix should cut my labor in half and ensure that I don't go much past my due date...only time will tell. But so far, I would recommend these to others!

I was pleasantly surprised to get my delivery so quickly. I have used this prenatal formula for many years and have felt that it has truly helped in an easier delivery. I am glad they still make it!

I used Dr. Christopher's Birth-Prep with my first baby and I believe it helped me to have a swift labor and delivery. I highly recommend using this to help prepare for the birth of your baby!

I bought these herbs for my daughter who is due in May as I also took a very similar product back in the 1980's when I was pregnant for her! I have 8 children, the first 2 born in the hospital, the last 6 born at home, but choice. I found the herbs I needed to take through the book "Herbally Yours" and had not yet heard of Dr. Christopher. I would not have a baby without taking this herbal blend. I know how well it works to help you have a baby by preparing you. With the babies I took the herbs with I only labored 5-6 1/2 hours. There were a couple I could not afford to buy the herbs with as my husband was laid off and it took me 15-19 hours to have them! I am not counting the hospital births as they had been medically intervened (pitocin).
These are powerful herbs that work well in helping women. I had to take mine in much higher dosages as the dosage on the bottle did not work for me (I found Dr. Christopher's Formula for the last 2 pregnancies), but as in any case, each person needs to find what works for them.
I have my daughter taking these and she is planning a waterbirth. These herbs will not make your pains any easier, they will not make your birthing experience pain-free in any way, but they do prepare your body to have a baby, speeds up the process, and makes for a much smoother delivery. I could actually feel my body working to have my babies. Being in tune with your body and what is going on makes it even easier to see how well these work, especially if you've already had a child without using herbs. This is a high quality brand and the herbs are fantastic.
I will write again after the baby comes and let you know how it went with the use of these herbs, which I expect very good results with.

This is great stuff! I used it for 7 weeks before my son was born and for several weeks after, to help my uterus contract back to normal. I think it really helped, and My Natural Market has the BEST price on this product that I have been able to find.

I used this formula in preparation for all nine of my children and had wonderful birth experiences, but my favorite thing about this formula is how it balances my hormone levels out. After struggling with PMS for many years, it was suggested that I start taking this formula after birthing my babies to help with the baby blues and my PMS. For me, it was a miracle. It worked so well, that I continue to use it for balancing purposes even though my youngest is now 13. When ever I feel myself getting over stressed and feeling like I just can't handle life, I run for my bottle of Birth-Prep (Formerly Pre-Natal). It obviously doesn't fix the stresses, but my ability to cope with the stresses increases dramaticly. In fact it has worked so well that now both of my daughters use it for the same thing. I'm sure there are other formulas that would work too, but since this one works so well for me, I have not been inclined to experiment with anything else.
