Good But Expensive

This was my first time for Doctor's Best Magnesium Threonate and it is working quite well but I need more than the suggested amount, so I would give it a 4 star not a 5 star rating because it is more expensive than the other two on the market. I like that the product is devoid of fillers like magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, etc. but was surprised by the need for more instead of less given the lack of fillers and additives. This leads me to wonder if when the fillers are present as they are in LEF brand and Jarrow brand, you somehow absorb them gradually and thus require less miligrams. My reason to question this is because the LEF brand says to take three capsules for 144 mg of magnesium threonate. Doctor's Best says take two capsules for a total of 150 mg magnesium threonate. Despite the increased amount of magnesium I require a third one to ward off leg cramps (perhaps not for cognitive improvements but I need magnesium for my entire body).
