Steam Gourmet is an innovative steam-in-parchment kit that provides a clean, simple way for cooks to prepare delicately flavored and tender entrees. Each kit contains two carefully crafted seasoning packets and two parchment bags, enough to combine with protein to make two complete entrees that each serve four. Choose from four alluring flavors: Sesame Ginger Salmon, Garlic Herb Chicken, Paprika Chicken and Cajun Chicken.
You will need 1 lb salmon fillets.
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Place salmon skin side down on a plate. Open one seasoning packet and evenly sprinkle over salmon. Press in place with the back of a spoon.
- Place parchment bag seam side up on baking sheet. Put salmon in a single layer in parchment bag.
- Fold the open edge of the bag under twice and crease well.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from overn and let rest 5-10 minutes before opening bag and serving. The USDA recommends cooking salmon to an internal temperature of 145ºF.
